Our Story

As a non-drinker, I was keen to try this and get a taste of what the whisky was like. Must admit I was a bit disappointed in that regard as it was like the whisky bottle had just been waved over the top, the flavour was that indistinct. It tasted strongly of onion powder and tomato sauce, not an unpleasant combination, but some whisky flavour would have been helpful. I have made my own jerky for over forty years now, so I suppose I am a bit spoilt in that regard for flavour. Not bad overall, just try a bit more whisky next time. M.
